The CARBON project in the German newspaper Handelsblatt
In early April 2024, Pierre-Emmanuel Martin gave an interview to Handelsblatt, a German economic daily.
On this occasion, the president and co-founder of CARBON explained the company’s mission: to build the leader of the European solar PV industry.
To achieve this, CARBON’s giga-factory in Fos-sur-Mer will produce 5 GWc per year, roughly equivalent to 10 million photovoltaic panels. As a large-scale project, the strength of CARBON’s giga-factory lies in the vertical integration of the value chain, enabling the project to be competitive. To succeed in its ambition, CARBON can rely on a favorable political context. The Solar Pact and the European Solar Charter, signed in early April 2024, confirm French and European willingness to support the solar reindustrialization.
