The Energa\u00efa Forum 2024<\/a> was a key moment for CARBON, bringing together experts and stakeholders in the energy transition for inspiring discussions. Here\u2019s a recap of these two enriching days focused on the future of the European photovoltaic sector.<\/p>\n

Two Days of Engagement<\/strong><\/h4>\n

For two days, CARBON\u2019s booth was a hub for dialogue and exchange. Our team members<\/a>\u2014\u00c9tienne Roche, Baptiste Cotte, and Raffaella Giardino\u2014were present to welcome visitors and share CARBON\u2019s vision<\/a>: building the most ambitious project in Europe for revitalizing the photovoltaic sector.<\/p>\n

Participants had the opportunity to discuss with our team the challenges and opportunities of reindustrialization, as well as our commitment to sustainable and competitive solar panel production.<\/p>\n

Key Highlights<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The Forum was also marked by two impactful interventions:<\/p>\n

  1. Eco-Design and Recycling at the Heart of Renewable Energy<\/strong>
    \nDuring the roundtable discussion, \u201cRenewables: Eco-Design and Recycling to Produce New Equipment, a French and European Industrial Challenge,\u201d<\/em> Raffaella Giardino, CARBON\u2019s Product and Innovation Director, highlighted the company\u2019s efforts to incorporate eco-design into its processes. She exchanged ideas with industry leaders including (    SESA<\/a>), Nouha Gazbour (INES<\/a>\u00a0– CEA<\/a>), Aymeric Cenes (Envie Occitanie<\/a>), Antoine Chalaux (ROSI<\/a>), and Juan Alzate (Soren<\/a>).<\/li>\n
  2. Reindustrialization for the Energy Transition<\/strong>
    \nPierre-Emmanuel Martin, President of CARBON, participated in a discussion on reindustrialization in Europe. He emphasized the urgency of strengthening industrial sovereignty in the photovoltaic sector. Joining him were Ga\u00ebtan Masson (Becquerel Institute\/ESMC), Lucas Weiss (VOLTEC SOLAR), and J\u00e9r\u00e9my Simon (SER), as they shared a vision for a sovereign and innovative European solar industry.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
